Sarah’s glowing natural beauty suited the spring lookbook styling brief, so I kept her look soft and natural, with one of my all time fav makeup looks, "the no makeup - makeup look", framed by undone soft waves.
Staying true to our model's perfectly creamy complexion, I kept the base sheer with a light application of Bobbi Brown BB cream, leaving Sarah’s sprinkle of freckles peeping through.
A dusting of beautifully sheer neutral tones for eyes from Urban Decay’s Naked 3 and naked on the run palettes. A light coat of mascara on bottom lashes complements the heavier application of mascara on top lashes to define and separate.
Brows are groomed up and filled in with very light feather strokes adding a hint of definition to the inner corners of her natural brow, emphasises natural brow shape, to feature focus this signature brow look.
Blush application is the key to popping skin tone and eyes, while keeping the makeup fresh. Add a hint of stila creme in peony onto the apple of cheeks for that slight rosy flush that gives an instant healthy winter glow.
NARS new lover velvet gloss lip pencil for a slight tint to natural lip colour, layered with Urban Decay naked lip gloss to add just a slight sheen of gloss without looking like too much colour or high shine.
Working with our models lightly wavy hair texture, I just added a small amount of body with Kevin Murphy’s volumisng mousse, and dried lightly in with a gentle twist in small sections, finishing with a sightly off-centre part that wasn't too perfect or too straight for perfectly undone waves.
In keeping with a more casual and easy look for winter, nails were a French-twist, in a nude shade – a soft pastely neutral, not too pink or too beige.
