Returns Policy

RETURNS POLICY

Making a return or exchange is easy. Just make sure you return your goods to us within 28 days of receiving your order, along with a copy of the order placed.

Please note items purchased on sale can not be exchanged or refunded.

Did you buy your product with a local boutique? Please return to the store to liaise directly with the store manager. Refer to our full stockist details here.

HOW TO MAKE AN EXCHANGE OR RETURN

You can simply return or exchange your RT goods to us in just a few simple steps:

  1. Email us at customercare@rebeccathompson.com.au. Make sure that you include your order number (which is on your invoice). Tell us your reason for the return – this is just so we can send your feedback to our product team so that we can continue to improve our products.
  2. We will issue you a return reference number. Please make sure that you include this reference number in your return package.
  3. If you would like an exchange, place another order online, and we will credit you as required for your return once received and processed. (Sorry, we cannot accept requests for exchanges prior to receiving your return.)
  4. For unworn items, please repack your item in the original packaging. Please note for hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be returned in store or online under no circumstances.

Unfortunately, we cannot take responsibility for any packages lost in transit.

OUR EXCHANGE TERMS

RebeccaThompson.com.au will happily accept returns for incorrect merchandise ordered or received, or items included that were not ordered within 28 days of the purchase date. For exchanges we will gladly replace your garment if you have any concerns with the manufacturing, or exchange if you ordered the wrong size. There is no charge to exchange items for a different size, however all exchanges are based on stock availability. Shipping is also free on the replacement item, however if you are based outside of Australia, you will need to pay taxes and duties on this.  

For both returns and exchanges, please have your invoice number or order number on hand, and contact us either through our contact form, or by phoning +(61) 3 9596 9426 (operating hours Monday – Friday, 10am – 5pm, AEST).

RECEIVING A REFUND

Your refund will either be credited to the original purchaser's credit card, and will include shipping costs for faulty items. Customs duties and sales taxes are non-refundable through RebeccaThompson.com.au. However you may be able to recover these by contacting your local customs bureau directly. As this may not be available for all countries, we recommend that you hire a customs broker if you wish to claim back duties on returned merchandise.

Please allow 2 weeks from the shipping date for your refund to be processed, and note that card refunds may take up to 10 business days from processing for your bank to complete, depending on their processing time. This can vary greatly between card issuers, and unfortunately we are unable to influence this.

OUR RETURNS POLICY

Items should be returned new, unused and with all RebeccaThompson garment tags still attached. Returns that are damaged, soiled or altered may not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer. All items returned should have a copy of the original order details. Unidientified returns may be returned to the sender.

FAULTY GOODS

Goods are classified as faulty if they are received damaged, or where a manufacturing fault occurs within 90 days of purchase. Please note that items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be faulty.

Where possible, we will offer to repair faulty items. If you would like exchange your item, please be aware that we can only replace it for the same product, in the same size, subject to availability. You will receive a full refund if the item cannot be repaired or replaced.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

All items are quality controlled and checked for any faults before they are dispatched to customers. Should you receive an item that is not in perfect condition, please contact us immediately.

Please send all items you wish to return from an order in the same shipment to ensure your return is processed as quickly as possible. Items should be returned in their original packaging to ensure they are adequately protected in transit.
